The Vincent Walsh memorial tournament is played each year with under 13 boys to honour the memory of Vincent Walsh, a club mentor, supporter, parent and friend. A proud Galwayman and a football fanatic.
This year we have 17 teams taking part from Cork, Galway, Mayo, Cavan, Wexford, Wicklow and Dublin. c.300 players and another 100 coaches.
It promises to be a feast of football.
Its on from 11am to 16.30pm in the VEC Sportsgounds in Terenure.
A massive volunteer effort to make it happen, a big shout to our 2014 parents who are up early this morning making sandwiches to ensure our visitors do not go hungry and our 2013 coaches and parents getting everything else ready.
and we could always do with a few more to help around 1.30pm to 2.30pm serving tea/coffee and helping with the BBQ, if you are available.
