All you need to know for this year’s Mini All Ireland 2025 - Our favourite week of the year.
What is the Mini All Ireland?
This is a festival of football with hundreds of children playing. TSSGFC invite children from 6 - 12 to play in a Gaelic Football tournament played this year over Friday night, a Saturday & a Sunday. One game Friday, two Saturday and one Sunday which is finals day.
Every child plays a final and gets a medal. Each player will be nominated a county. They will get a T shirt for that county to play in it over the 3 days representing their nominated county.
This year is the 11th year of TSS Mini All-Ireland, and it will be the biggest ever with over 750 girls and boys signed up and ready to go! Thanks to you all for supporting this landmark event in our juvenile calendar.
Aside from the work done by our volunteers this could never happen without the generous support of our sponsors and advertisers, and we are particularly grateful to our premium sponsor: The Two Sisters, and our Partner sponsors: Capital Credit Union and Park Financial Mortgages.
Will there be a programme available?
This year’s Mini All-Ireland Digital Programme is now live and packed with everything you need to know! Inside, you will find team lists, fixtures, articles of interest, key event information, and plenty more content to help you make the most of the weekend. We would love for you to check it out and share it with family and friends so everyone can stay up to date and enjoy the action.

Which County Team is my child on?
The teams are all picked and can be viewed in the Digital Programme at the link above.
When is it on?
Remember it runs from Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons.
Friday 12th September 5.30pm to 8pm
Saturday 13th September 1.00pm to 6pm
Sunday 14th September 1.00 to 4.30pm
Where is it on?
It is on in the VEC/ETB Grounds in Terenure.
What time are matches on at?
Please note that match times for each team vary each day. All kids will play 1 match on Friday evening, 2 matches on Saturday and 1 match on Sunday.
Will we be able track my team's progress during the week?
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your fixture time to give us enough time to hook the players up with their County teams and Bainisteoiri, hand out the county t-shirts and get to the correct pitch before the hooter goes off.
Do I need to be a member of TSSGFC or have played football before to participate?
No - this is all about participation and fun - all members and non-members welcome.
How do I know what pitch my child's Team are playing on?
You will receive an Email closer to the date with a link to the programme where teams are all listed, and this will include a venue map, so you know where to be and when.
Are Boys and Girls mixed on the teams?
No - again this year our girls and boys will play their own separate tournament.
How will I know how my child's team is doing?
Will the referee wait for me if I am late?
All games and half times will be centrally controlled by a hooter. So, the game will begin whether your child is there or not!
Is there a code of behaviour for adults?
Absolutely! We would ask everyone attending to support the TSS #PositiveSidelines Policy (see Digital Programme). This week should be pure fun and football for all. Posters will be displayed at venue.
Will I miss my dinner?!
Food will be available on-site Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with kid’s choices and coffee for the adults. See Digital Programme for more info.
Where do I park?
If possible, please walk or cycle to this year’s Mini All Ireland. There will be no parking at the VEC. The gate will be open to pedestrians and cyclists only. We would like to avoid a large build-up of traffic in the area surrounding the VEC. We have access to the carpark behind St. Joseph's Church in Terenure, and Terenure College carpark, but please park nearest the gym/hall. Both are only a 7-minute walk away. Alternatively, there may be parking in Rathdown Park.
Any queries where do I go?
We will have an information tent set up. Our volunteers there will try and help you.
Is there any other music or entertainment?
Make sure to stick around on the Sunday afternoon. We will have some music and craic after the Prize ceremonies. So, stick around and meet your neighbours.
Can anyone come along and watch?
Everyone is welcome to come along and watch the football. Feel free to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbours to support the children.
Can I bring my dog along to support?
Unfortunately, not. You must leave the dog at home. The (ETB) VEC Sportsgrounds (Templeogue Road, Terenure) would like to remind everyone that, for Health and Safety reasons, DOGS are NOT allowed in its grounds except for guide dogs. These are the VEC rules, please respect them.
